"Thanks for your letter, I am impressed. This is my 4th house and the little extras that you do certainly impress."

How do Total Realty manage to keep their commission so low?

The answer lies in keeping overheads to a minimum. Before the days of the internet you would have had to go to a corner office and talk with an agent. They would take you to many properties but not all would be their own, so in order to motivate them there was a cut in the commission for them.

These days things have changed with the advent of the Internet, TradeMe and mobile communication. Corner offices incur rent, full time staff, photocopiers to run, phone bills to pay, etc. At Total Realty we have just the one office, most agents work from home in their local area, as we do. We list and sell properties, thus removing the selling commission. We are not a franchise so we don't pass that cost on to you as the 4% companies do.

We believe that 1% is the true cost necessary to sell a home, we are not discounting at all.

Choose us because we offer the best service - not because we offer the best value.
